JAY LAG

About

I chose the name Jay Lag as a nod to jet lag, and to the relationship with time I like to slow down inside my photographs.

For over twenty years, I have been making photographs. My work is built around the portrait, and a particular love for slowing things down, street scenes or faces alike.

I let the movement linger, long enough for the blur to find its own line. It is a search, again and again, for the way light and time meet inside a single frame.

My work has been exhibited in Paris and London. Lately I make series dedicated to very specific themes, most of them shot with slow shutter speeds.
